Move over New York, America loves Seattle most

It sometimes feels like Seattle is overlooked among the nation’s major cities. We have a breathtaking skyline, several professional sport teams (even if we are down one from a few years ago), and a unique and diverse culture— but for some reason the Pacific Northwest doesn’t always get the same props the L.A. and New York big shots do.

Well, there is new evidence that not only is Seattle on the same level as some of its more sizable counterparts, but it may be the single most beloved city in the country.

According to a new survey from Public Policy Polling, Seattle is the most popular city in the U.S. with a whopping 57 percent of respondents viewing the city favorably and only 14 percent viewing it unfavorably.
