Today my cute, curly-haired, perpetually curious bundle of awesomeness is somehow already turning three years old. Elliott has grown so much in the past year — he has a definite voice within the family now and can use it to charm (75% of the time) or tantrum (25%, but oh SO LOUD). Watching him come into his own as a force to be reckoned with in the world, finding out who he is and what he wants to be, has been a beautiful, if at times frustrating, thing. He loves monkeys, The Beatles, pianos, reading, learning, puzzles, being in water, climbing things you’d think wouldn’t be climbable, getting into absolutely everything, learning the hard way, dancing, singing, and getting into adventures with his sister, Madeline, his true partner-in-crime.
Happy Birthday, Elliott: life is an amazing thing! We love you and couldn’t be more proud of the boy you’re busy every day becoming.
