I’ve seen most of the David Foster Wallace stuff on YouTube by now, but I had never seen this until tonight. It’s an interview from 2003, and this clip is part 1 of 10 (meaning the entire thing is almost an hour!). So I’m putting this here both as a placeholder for myself - so that I remember to come back and watch the whole thing later - and as a special treat for anybody who has an hour to spare right at this moment. There’s probably no better way to spend it.
